According to ministry of education “National General Colleges and Universities Recommend Excellent Undergraduate Graduates to Exempt from Examination for Master's Degree Work Management(on trail)”, “Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Further Strengthening the Recommendation of Excellent Undergraduate Graduates for Exemption from Examination for Postgraduate(teaching Hall [2013] No. 8)”, “Management method of East China Normal University recommends excellent undergraduate graduates to exempt from the examination(revised in 2018)”, combining the actual situation of the political science department, formulate the Department of Political Science recommend exemption postgraduate in 2019 comprehensive ranking program and work rules as follows:

Comprehensive ranking
The comprehensive ranking is determined by academic achievement, professional ability assessment, quality class bonus points and deduction points. Out of 100 points, academic achievement accounted for 60%, professional ability assessment accounted for 20%, and quality projects scored 20%.
Scoring standard:percentage system,grade point 4 is 100 points. According to the actual grade point, the percentage system is converted into a percentage of 60 points.
Academic performance is calculated according to the average grade point of the first three academic years of the undergraduate course.

Interview for professional ability assessment. The interview mainly tests the knowledge base and overall quality of the students. The interview was conducted by the work leading group.

Scoring standard:accumulated according to the actual situation, the awards for the same achievement are counted according to the highest level, but the final score must not exceed 20 points.
Implementation procedure
Development of comprehensive ranking plans and working rules
Formulate “The Department of Political Science recommends exemption in 2019 comprehensive ranking program and working rules” before june 30, and publish on the website.
Determine interview qualification
Students who meet the conditions for promotion,submit an appliance and copys of the results of the 4th and 6th grade examinations to the class counselor, and present the relevant documents such as the original and other relevant documents (Students applying for the Quality Plus Bonus Program should submit a summary of the winning results at the same time as submitting the award certificate.), and fill in application form (attachment 1) on july 13. If the relevant materials are not submitted within the specified time, the referral work leading group will not receive it.
Rank according to the usual comprehensive scores (professional scores + quality class points - quality deduction points). The interview list is determined in order according to 150% of the number of places recommended by the school and reviewed by work leading group.

Publish the list of recommendations
After the interview, the Department of Political Science announced the list of recommendations in 5 days. Special recommendation
Students who meet one of the following conditions may apply for special promotion procedures without being restricted by the overall quality ranking:
Students who ave special academic expertise, obtain patents, publish papers, etc.
Students who have outstanding professional ability, second prize of national level competition and above or provincial first prize and above.
Students with outstanding talents such as outstanding research and innovation potential or world champions in high-level sports events.
The Normal University under the Ministry of Education accepts the compensation plan for the exemption of students of our school.
The special recommendation procedure is carried out according to the following procedure:
Students apply for by himeself and submit relevant materials.
Three or more professors of my department jointly recommended.
The Department reviews and agrees, and publicizes the reasons for student application and professor recommendation on the website, bulletin board and other channels.
List of publicized students and referees after the school’s work recommendation team’s review.
The school organizes an expert review meeting, and the applicant must participate in the interview.
Others
Students who have been exempted from eligibility will be disqualified if they have one of the following conditions:
Students who be punished after being determined to be exempted.
Students who can not graduate as scheduled, or can not get a bachelor's degree.
Graduation thesis results can not reach the "good".
Students who are exempted from qualifications are no longer included in the Graduate Employment Referral Program, and students no longer apply for overseas study.
